Peugeot 107 central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2011 Peugeot 107 diesel stopped working, affecting both doors and rendering the key fob ineffective. The issue was suspected to be due to a bad cable or plug connection. A workshop diagnosis confirmed a defective cable connection as the cause, leading to the resolution of the problem.

It's both doors at the same time. Can you say more about the intermittent thing? Did it store a fault code too?

Right, both doors is different. When mine was going bad, you could hear the mechanism trying to work sometimes, other times nothing. I didn't check the error codes myself; just took it to a workshop in the end. They sorted it.

Seems like a workshop is best. It cost 95€. Diagnosis was a defective cable connection, like I thought.

Similar thing happened with my 107. Drove me nuts. Is it both doors, or just one? Mine was just the driver's side. Started sometimes, then stopped.
