Peugeot 107 Cruise Control Failure

My 2006 Peugeot 107 (gasoline engine) has 296909 km. The cruise control stopped working and an error is stored. I read it could be a defective cable or plug. Has anyone had this and how did you fix it?

Hey, I had something similar with my 107. Cruise control just quit. Did you check the clock spring? I've also heard dodgy speed sensors or even the pedal switch can cause it. Even the throttle position sensor might be to blame. Worth a look before you dive too deep!

To be honest, I never figured it out myself! After fiddling around for ages, I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quickly. Saved me a massive headache, and wasn't too expensive.

Thanks for sharing. I went to a workshop and it was a defective connection. The repair cost 95€.
