Thanks for the reply! I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be the sensors themselves. Is there any easy way to test the sensors or identify which one is failing? Also, where are the ultrasonic sensors actually located in the rear bumper? I haven't taken a close look yet.

Unfortunately, I never got around to checking the sensors myself. Based on the error report I had, I think it would be best if you ask the guys from the workshop. I remember back then, I was told that I can cause some potential issues without special tools. You can always ask for an estimate of the costs.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I think I'll head to the workshop this week. The error memory told me it's a faulty connector; they quoted 95€ for that. Fingers crossed it's just that and nothing more serious.

Hello, I recall having a similar issue with my Peugeot 208. The parking sensors went haywire. I remember back then, first the car was signaling errors and then it stopped functioning. I'm wondering, have you checked the ultrasonic sensors themselves? A faulty sensor could be the culprit before you start digging around the wiring harness.
