Peugeot 107 temperature sensor AC issue

I'm so frustrated! I have a 2008 Peugeot 107, diesel engine, and the temperature sensor heat exchanger seems to be defective. I keep getting an error stored in the error memory, plus an error message pops up on the speedometer. And to top it off, the air conditioning won't even switch on! What could be wrong?

Ugh, sounds like a mess! That temperature sensor could be causing all sorts of issues. Is the temperature gauge acting weird? A faulty sensor can mess with the engine cooling system, and that might be why your AC isn’t working. Have you checked for any coolant leaks?

The temperature gauge seems normal, believe it or not. Coolant levels are fine, too. Could it be anything else other than the sensor itself? Like, could the sensor need calibration or something?

Hmm, if the gauge is okay and coolant is good, it might be a deeper issue. It’s possible the AC control unit itself is the problem, since that talks to the sensor. Honestly, at this point, I’d get it to a workshop to properly diagnose. These things can get tricky.

You were right, the air conditioning control unit was faulty. Cost me 980€ to repair, but at least it's fixed. Thanks for the help!
