Peugeot 108 Engine Light and Fuel Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot 108 is experiencing issues with the check engine light on, reduced power, and excessive fuel consumption. A similar case suggested the problem might be related to the exhaust temperature sensor, potentially caused by a leak in the exhaust system. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic, which led to the identification and resolution of the issue.

Exhaust temp sensor, eh? Interesting. No weird noises, but I have noticed a slight burning smell sometimes. How did you figure out it was the sensor?

Yeah, the burning smell is a clue! Mine ended up being a leak in the exhaust system that fried the sensor, causing all sorts of problems. I'd say get it checked by a mechanic ASAP. Ended up costing me around 265€ to fix.

Thanks a bunch! I'll take it to a workshop then. It was indeed the exhaust temperature sensor, caused by a leak in the exhaust system. It's all fixed now!

Dude, that sounds familiar. I have a 108 as well, and I had similar issues a while back. Was told it was the exhaust temperature sensor. Have you checked for any weird noises or smells?
