Peugeot 108 engine stalls check engine light
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Peugeot 108 experienced engine stalling and a check engine light, potentially due to a fuel tank ventilation system leak. The issue was suspected to be related to the activated charcoal filter, a component of the ventilation system. After consulting a mechanic, it was confirmed that the filter was defective, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly is the charcoal filter located, and how would I check if it's defective? Is it related to the pressure sensor?

Honestly, I am not sure about the exact location, but it is part of the fuel tank ventilation system. In my case, it was the activated charcoal filter. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; leak detection can be tricky.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Took it to a mechanic, and you were right! It was the activated charcoal filter. Cost me 275€ to replace. Runs fine now.

I had similar issues with my 108. Check your activated charcoal filter; might be defective. Is your fuel efficiency also down?
