Yeah, visually inspected the coil pack, looks okay. No cracks or anything obvious. Did you end up replacing the coil pack on your Corsa?

I did. I tried cleaning the contacts first, but the problem persisted. Replacing the coil pack sorted it out completely. Given your mileage and symptoms, I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. Could save you some headaches.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the shop and you were spot on – defective ignition coil. Cable connection was indeed faulty. 95€ later and it's running smoothly again.

I had similar symptoms on my old Opel Corsa. Engine hesitation and stalling were driving me nuts. The check engine light also kept appearing. Have you checked the coil pack itself for any visible damage?
