Peugeot 2008 cruise control failure

Hi, my 2022 Peugeot 2008 with a gasoline engine has developed a cruise control problem. It just stopped working completely, and the error memory has a fault stored. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced this?

Hey, I had a similar cruise control issue with my 2008. Does the problem occur intermittently, or is it completely dead? Have you checked the pedal switch and steering wheel connections?

Okay, completely dead points more towards a consistent fault. Given that you've already seen an error code, it's probably best to get it checked at a workshop. It could be the clock spring or even the throttle position sensor, but without proper diagnostics, you might just be chasing ghosts. I took mine to a shop and they solved it pretty quickly.
