Peugeot 2008 Engine Running Lean
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Peugeot 2008 with approximately 98,000 km is experiencing symptoms of running lean, including reduced power, a check engine light, and rough running, particularly during acceleration. The issue could be due to a defective injection valve, but other potential causes include problems with the EGR valve or intake manifold. After consulting with others and visiting a workshop, it was confirmed that the problem was with the fuel injectors, which were subsequently repaired.

Thanks for the tip. Did you also experience jerking when accelerating? Was it definitely the fuel injectors in your case?

Yeah, jerking was definitely part of it. I'd say get it checked at a workshop; could be injectors but better to be sure. Ignoring it could cause more damage.

Thanks. I took it to the shop, and it was indeed the fuel injectors. Repair cost 515€. Appreciate the help!

Hey, I had similar symptoms with my 2008. Check engine light and all. Have you checked the EGR valve or considered a fuel injector issue? Could also be related to the intake manifold.
