Thank you for your response. I have not checked the battery voltage myself. Is it possible to do this with standard tools, or is specialized equipment required? Also, no recent work has been performed on the car.

You can check the battery voltage with a simple multimeter. Plenty of videos online showing how. However, given all the symptoms you're describing and the mileage, plus the error code in memory, it really does point towards a defective generator. It might be best to get it checked at a workshop. Continuing to drive it could cause further damage.

Understood. Thank you for your advice. I will take it to a workshop for a professional evaluation. It turns out the generator was indeed defective and needed replacement, costing 960€.

Hey! Sorry to hear you're having issues. Those symptoms do sound like they could be related to the generator, or alternator. Before jumping to conclusions, have you checked the battery's voltage? A weak battery can sometimes cause similar problems. Also, any recent work done on the car?
