Peugeot 2008 key battery low warning
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Peugeot 2008 diesel owner is experiencing a 'key battery low' warning, leading to erratic keyless access and stored errors. The issue is likely due to a depleted key fob battery, especially noticeable in colder conditions. The suggested solution is to replace the battery, which can be done at a local garage for a reasonable cost, effectively resolving the problem.

Interesting. It does seem worse in the mornings when it's colder. So you reckon it's definitely just the key fob battery then?

Almost certainly. Could try swapping the battery yourself, but honestly, it's like performing surgery with a spoon. A workshop will sort it quickly and probably won't charge much more than the battery itself.

Thanks for the advice. Popped into a local garage, they swapped the battery for 37€. Problem solved!

Yep, sounds familiar. I've got a Peugeot 2008, too. Had the same symptoms. Like a lightbulb dimming before it burns out. Is it struggling more in the cold?
