Peugeot 206 Automatic Transmission Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 206 with 76,846 km was experiencing issues with its automatic transmission, including erratic shifting, the transmission light activating, and entering emergency mode. The owner suspected undervoltage as a possible cause. Another owner with a similar experience suggested that the problem might be resolved by a transmission flush and oil replacement. After following this advice, the issue was resolved with a transmission flush and oil replacement at a workshop.

Thanks! What do you mean by 'acted up?' Did yours go into emergency mode, and did the transmission light come on?

Yep, that's exactly what I meant! The emergency mode kicked in a few times, and that light was definitely on. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked by a workshop sooner rather than later. Mine ended up needing a transmission flush and oil replacement.

Thanks for confirming. I took it to a workshop, and the automatic transmission oil was worn out. They did a transmission flush and oil replacement. It cost 240€. It's fixed now. Thanks again!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a 206 too, and my automatic transmission acted up in a similar way a while back. The shifting was all over the place. Was a nightmare! Did you notice any specific patterns or conditions when it happens?
