Peugeot 206 diesel engine smoke and power loss

I'm having trouble with my 2002 Peugeot 206 diesel. The check engine light comes on sometimes, the engine's lost power, and it smokes when I accelerate. I think it might be the crankcase ventilation valve. Has anyone else had this?

No weird smells, but I have noticed a little more oil consumption. I thought it was just getting old. Could that be the crankcase ventilation too?

Yep, sounds like the valve. I tried a few things, but honestly, it was a pain. I'd get it checked by a workshop. Probably the quickest way to sort it.

Okay, I'll take it to a shop. They quoted me about 360€ to replace the valve. Thanks for the help!
