Charcoal filter, huh? I haven't looked at that yet. Where exactly is it located, and what should I be looking for? Is there a purge valve connected to it?

Yeah, the charcoal filter is part of the emission control system; I think the purge valve is connected to it. It's a common culprit. Honestly, it's a pain to get to. If you're not comfortable messing with it, a workshop visit might be your best bet.

Thanks a bunch for the tip! It was indeed the activated charcoal filter, just like you said! System failure caused the check engine light to come on and the stalling. Cost me 275€ to get it sorted, but now she runs like a dream!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my 206. Have you checked the EVAP system? It might be a ventilation problem. What about the activated charcoal filter, did you check that?
