Peugeot 206 MOST bus fault

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my 2009 Peugeot 206 diesel. The audio system is completely dead – no sound at all. The navigation system is also without function. I scanned for errors and found a stored MOST bus fault. Mileage is at 298461 km. Could a defect in a control unit on the MOST bus really cause all of this?

Yes, the error pointed to the MOST bus. It seems a faulty control unit can disrupt the whole network. I suggest getting it checked by a workshop; it might save you a lot of headaches. My repair cost was around 1000€ to give you a rough idea.
