Peugeot 207 ABS and Steering Issues

Peugeot 207, built in 2009, gasoline engine. The tire pressure warning light is on. Now, the ABS lamp lights up, the steering wheel vibrates, and it requires more effort when steering; the power steering seems to have failed. Could it be related to a flat tire, or maybe a tire sensor issue? I've already inflated the tires. Could it be related to the tire monitoring system? Has anyone experienced a punctured tire with similar symptoms?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my 207. The low tire pressure light came on, and the steering felt really weird. Did you check the tire valves? That was my problem.

Thanks! Yes, I checked tire pressure and re-inflated the tires. Can you elaborate more on the valve issue? How did you figure out that was the problem, and did you have similar problems with the ABS or power steering?

Well, at first I thought I had a flat tire, even though the tires looked fine. The valve was defective and leaked pressure slowly. Because of the pressure difference the ABS warning came on too. And yes, it affected my power steering. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Thank you so much! I'll take it to the workshop as soon as possible. I'll let you know how it goes, but it seems like the defective valve in tire was the root cause. The repair ended up costing 280€, but everything is working fine now!
