Peugeot 207 Airbag Warning Light Rollover Sensor Error

Hi, I have a 2015 Peugeot 207 (gasoline engine) and I'm getting an annoying error. The airbag warning light is constantly on, and a diagnostic tool shows an error related to the rollover sensor. Has anyone else experienced this? It's got 93921 km on the clock. Any ideas?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 207. The symptoms were almost identical - airbag light and all. Have you checked the sensor itself? I think my problem was definitely the tilt sensor.

You mean the rollover sensor? Where is that even located? And how did you figure out that was the issue? Any specific things I should look for?

Yeah, the rollover sensor. Honestly, I didn't do much myself. A friend of mine knows more about cars. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop and getting it checked out. They can diagnose the problem properly. In my case, the affected control unit was defective. It's the SRS sensor. Cost me around 1000€.

Okay, thanks for the info! Seems like it might be a bigger issue than I thought. I'll take it to a workshop and see what they say. Hopefully, it won't cost me an arm and a leg. :/
