Peugeot 207 central locking malfunction

Experiencing an electrical issue with my 2011 Peugeot 207 Diesel (186235 km mileage). The central locking system is haywire. The doors won't lock or unlock using either the key fob or the manual lock. I suspect a faulty door contact signal, cable or plug connection since the car thinks a door is open. Has anyone else encountered this?

I had something similar with my 207. It drove me mad! Couldn't always lock the car, the alarm sometimes went off for no reason, it was super annoying. Have you checked the wiring harness where it enters the door? That's a common spot for wires to break, or the connector to get corroded.

In my case, it was the driver's side door. It started intermittently, then became permanent. Honestly, tracing electrical faults is a nightmare. I ended up taking it to a workshop because I just didn't have the time or patience.
