Peugeot 207 Fault Memory Lock Active Error
Summary of the thread
A Peugeot 207 owner encountered a 'fault memory lock active' error, suspecting it might be due to undervoltage. Another owner with a similar issue suggested checking the battery, as undervoltage can occur even if the battery seems to hold a charge. The problem was resolved by taking the car to a workshop, where an undervoltage issue was confirmed and repaired.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the reply! I did check the battery, and it seems to be holding a charge. It's about three years old. Could undervoltage still be the problem even if the battery seems okay? What exactly was the error message you were seeing?

Yeah, mine was also showing a good charge, but apparently, it wasn't enough. The exact error was something about a communication fault. Honestly, in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quick.

Okay, thanks for the info! I'll probably do the same then and take it to the workshop. They confirmed an undervoltage issue. Repair including parts was 240€. Cheers!

Hey! I have a 207 too, and something similar happened to me a while back. I was getting weird error messages popping up all the time. Did you check your battery recently? How old is it?
