Peugeot 207 Hands-Free Microphone Failure

Hi, I'm having a problem with my 2011 Peugeot 207, gasoline engine, with 153861 km on the clock. The hands-free microphone has stopped working. Telephony is no longer possible, and the system throws an error. I've tried re-pairing the phone, checking Bluetooth settings, even turning the infotainment system off and on again. Anyone else experienced this? Could the infotainment system itself be defective?

I had something similar with my 207. Voice recognition packed up and suddenly I couldn't use the bluetooth for calls. Did it happen suddenly, or did you notice any glitches beforehand?

That's interesting! It was quite sudden, actually. No real warning signs, just stopped working one day. Did you get it sorted? What was the cause?

Yep, sounds like the same issue I had. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. The solution was more complicated than I had first imagined.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate the advice. I took it to a mechanic. They confirmed it was a defective infotainment system and replaced it. Cost me 815€, but at least it's working now!
