Peugeot 207 Keyless Entry Failure

My 2013 Peugeot 207 with a gasoline engine is having keyless entry issues. It stopped working at 174043 km. Diagnostics show an error related to the door handle electronics. I suspect a cable or plug connection, but I've checked what I can without dismantling the door. Any ideas before I go to a shop? I'm guessing its the door mechanism, car door or a wiring fault, possibly even the door handle or door switch.

Dude, that sounds familiar! I have a 207 as well, and I had a similar issue with my keyless entry a while back. It was driving me nuts! Was it both doors, or just one?

Good to know I'm not alone in this Peugeot madness! It's just the driver's side door. The passenger side keyless entry still works fine. Did yours do the same thing?

Yep, driver's side only for me too! I messed around with it for a while, checking fuses and whatnot, but honestly, I ended up just taking it to a workshop. Save yourself the headache!

Okay, you've convinced me. I'll throw in the towel and get it to the shop. I just got the car back. Turns out it really was just a defective plug connection in the door. They charged me 95€ to fix it. Thanks for the advice!
