Peugeot 207 massage seat failure

Hi, I have a strange issue in my Peugeot 207 (2014) with a gasoline engine. It has about 243493 km on the clock. The massage function on the driver's seat has stopped working completely. I can't switch it on, and I also noticed a stored error message when I had it scanned. Any ideas what could be wrong?

The symptoms you describe, specifically the non-functional massage feature coupled with a stored error code, strongly suggest an electrical fault. The most probable cause is a defective cable or connector within the seat's massage system circuit. A systematic check of wiring and connections is advisable.

Thanks for the quick reply! Could you be a bit more specific about what I should be looking for when checking the wiring? I'm not very experienced with car electrics, so any pointers would be appreciated.

Given your lack of experience with automotive electrics, I would advise against attempting extensive repairs yourself. The complexity of seat wiring and the potential for further damage necessitate professional intervention. The described symptoms and probable cause align with a repair estimate of approximately 95€, suggesting a relatively straightforward fix at a qualified workshop.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop as you suggested, and it turned out to be a loose connector, just like you said. They charged me 95€, and now it's working perfectly again!
