Peugeot 207, 2013, gasoline. Mirror heaters not working. No function, error stored. Likely cable or plug. Has anyone seen this?

Summary of the thread

The Peugeot 207's mirror heaters are not functioning, with an error stored, suggesting a possible issue with the cable or plug. A similar problem in an Opel Astra was resolved by addressing a corroded connector. It is recommended to inspect the connectors and wiring for corrosion or damage before considering part replacements. The issue was resolved by fixing the connector, costing 95€ at a shop.

Had similar gremlins with my old Opel Astra. Mirror heater failed, but no errors stored. First thought was the heater element itself, but turned out to be a corroded connector. Check those plugs and wiring runs before you start replacing parts.

Where exactly was the corrosion on your Astra? Trying to narrow down where to look on the 207 before I start tearing things apart.

Passenger side mirror connector, buried up inside the door. Visual check didn't show much, but a wiggle and some contact cleaner sorted it. If that doesn't help, time to visit the shop.

Connector was indeed the culprit. 95€ at the shop fixed it. Appreciate the advice.
