Where exactly was the corrosion on your Astra? Trying to narrow down where to look on the 207 before I start tearing things apart.

Passenger side mirror connector, buried up inside the door. Visual check didn't show much, but a wiggle and some contact cleaner sorted it. If that doesn't help, time to visit the shop.

Connector was indeed the culprit. 95€ at the shop fixed it. Appreciate the advice.

Had similar gremlins with my old Opel Astra. Mirror heater failed, but no errors stored. First thought was the heater element itself, but turned out to be a corroded connector. Check those plugs and wiring runs before you start replacing parts.
