Peugeot 207 Starting Stalling Issue

It's definitely possible. In my case, it turned out to be the camshaft sensor in the end, after the garage checked both. Given your mileage and the symptoms, I'd say it's best to get it checked out by a workshop. They'll be able to properly diagnose the problem and save you money.

I took my Peugeot to a mechanic. The camshaft sensor was indeed defective, likely due to a worn encoder wheel as suspected. The repair was 695€. The car now runs perfectly. Thanks for your help!
