Peugeot 208 Audio Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot 208 owner is experiencing a complete audio system failure with an error message, despite checking basic settings and fuses. A similar issue in a Vauxhall Corsa was resolved by addressing a defective display. It is suggested that the problem might be with the head unit display, and a professional diagnosis at a workshop is recommended.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did check the fuses, and they seem fine. The audio is controlled via the head unit display; the dashboard controls are minimal. What specific issue did you have with your Vauxhall Corsa? Did it also involve complete audio failure and an error message?

Yeah, exactly! No sound at all, and the garage said it was the display itself that was defective. I'm no expert, but it sounds like the same thing. If it's showing an error and the fuses are fine, it might be worth getting it checked out by a workshop.

I appreciate you confirming that it seems to be the same issue. I'll take your advice and bring the car to a workshop for a professional diagnosis. Thanks for your time and help.

Whoa, that's weird! I had a similar problem with my old Vauxhall Corsa. The whole sound system just died on me. Did you check the fuses? It could be something simple. Does your Peugeot use the dashboard controls for the audio, or is it all on the head unit display? Maybe try fiddling with those?
