Peugeot 208 diesel injector fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot 208 diesel is experiencing a 'Reset quantity drift compensation' error, causing rough engine performance and a persistent check engine light. The issue is suspected to be related to a defective injection valve or injector, possibly influenced by performance tuning or onboard diagnostics problems. A similar case with a Renault Megane pointed to a faulty injector, and a workshop visit confirmed the Peugeot's issue as a defective injector, which was resolved with a replacement.

Thanks for the reply! The error is consistent, unfortunately. It doesn't disappear after restarting the engine. What exactly was the issue with your Megane? Did it also point to the fuel injectors?

Yeah, mine was consistent too. Turned out to be a faulty injector. I tried a fuel system reset as one of the forums suggested but that didn't fix it. In the end, it needed a new injector. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a defective injector. The repair cost 515€.

Hey, that sounds rough! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Rough running, engine light, the whole shebang! Could also impact your fuel economy. Is the error consistent, or does it come and go?
