You mean like a loose wire or something? Because that would be amazing if it's just that. But where exactly should I be wiggling? Is it hard to get to?

Exactly! Like a dodgy connection. On my Megane, the plug was right on the fan motor itself, behind the radiator. It was a pain to reach, but once I jiggled it, the fan sprang to life. Honestly, though, if you're not comfortable fiddling, a workshop checkup might be best.

I appreciate the help! I'll check the connections as you suggested. If that doesn't do the trick, I'll take it to the workshop. They said the issue was with cable or plug connection and charged 95€. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane, although it was a petrol. The overheating was driving me nuts! Turned out to be a dodgy connection to the fan motor. Have you looked at the cable and plug going to the fan? Worth a wiggle to see if anything happens.
