Peugeot 208 rough idle and stalling

I had something similar with my 208, though I don't remember the mileage. Check engine light, rough idling, the whole deal. Sounds like the fuel system. Have you checked the fuel injector and fuel lines?

I checked the fuel lines, but not the injector. Did your diagnostics point to the pressure sensor, or was it something else?

The sensor was throwing codes. Before you swap parts, take it to a workshop. Might save you some cash. Seems like a faulty pressure sensor.

Took it to a mechanic, and it was a defective fuel pressure sensor and a bad cable connection, like we thought. Cost 95€. All good now. Thanks for the advice; it stopped me from wasting time on the wrong stuff.
