Peugeot 208 Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Problems

You mentioned checking each tire individually. What should I be looking for specifically, given the symptoms I'm experiencing?

Well, first off, check the pressure in all four tires with a gauge; compare them to the recommended pressure on the sticker inside your driver's side door. Look closely at each tire for any embedded objects (nails, screws), cuts, or bulges in the sidewall. A defective valve is harder to spot, but listen closely near the valve stem for any hissing sounds indicating escaping air. Given the ABS light and steering issues, it's best to get it looked at by a workshop to ensure everything is safe. These systems are interconnected, like a house of cards, and a problem in one area can cause others to fall.

Thank you for the advice. I took the car to the workshop. The valve in the tire was indeed defective, causing pressure loss. Repair cost 280€.

Sounds like more than just low pressure. Think of your tire's valve like a tiny drain in a bathtub. If it's faulty, even a small leak can cause big problems. You mentioned ABS and steering issues too, which can sometimes be triggered by uneven tire pressure or a completely flat tire throwing off the car's sensors. Have you checked each tire individually for punctures or significant pressure loss?
