Peugeot 3008 automatic temperature control issue

While the error code would certainly narrow things down, the mileage, combined with your description, strongly suggests a faulty interior temperature sensor. In my case, the climate control behaved erratically, much like a thermostat stuck in one position. The sensor essentially tells the system what the cabin temperature is, and if that information is incorrect or missing, the whole system malfunctions.
