Peugeot 3008 GPS Antenna Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Peugeot 3008 hybrid is experiencing a GPS reception issue, likely due to a defective GPS antenna. The navigation system boots up but fails to receive a signal, suggesting a problem with the antenna or module connections. The GPS module is typically located under the dashboard near the center console. Given the car's age and symptoms, replacing the antenna is recommended, and a workshop has quoted approximately 200€ for the repair.

Thanks for the quick reply! The navigation system boots up, but it just never gets a GPS signal. Where exactly is the GPS module located? I'll check the connections.

Okay, if it boots but can't get a signal, it's almost certainly the antenna or the module itself. The GPS module is usually located under the dashboard, near the center console. But honestly, chasing down the connections can be a pain. Given the symptoms, the car's age, and error being stored, a defective antenna is very likely, and you're probably best off just replacing it or having a workshop take a look.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I'll check the module location, but will probably take it to a workshop to get the GPS antenna replaced. They quoted me around 200€ for the repair, so I guess that's the route I'll take.

Hey there. Yeah, that's a pretty common issue on those older 3008s. Does the navigation system work at all, or is it completely dead? Have you checked the connections to the GPS module itself? Sometimes a loose connection can cause that kind of problem.
