Peugeot 3008 high voltage error

Okay, I'm officially losing it. My 2023 Peugeot 3008 hybrid is giving me fits. The high-voltage system error message keeps popping up, and it's not just a light on the dash. The engine actually shuts off sometimes, and other times it just limps along with seriously reduced power. What gives? I've only got 41673 km on the clock! Is this some kind of cruel joke? The error memory says something about a system malfunction. Has anyone else seen this?

I have a 3008, and I had a similar issue a while back. Was the error message very specific, or more of a general 'something's wrong' kind of thing? Did you notice any unusual battery drain leading up to the problem?

Unusual battery drain... hmm, maybe? It's hard to say for sure. The error message is pretty vague, just says high-voltage system error. How specific was your error message? And what ended up being the problem? Was it an inverter issue or something electrical?

Mine was also a generic high-voltage system error. I wasn't comfortable poking around myself, so I took it to a workshop. After some diagnostics, they told me the high-voltage battery was heavily discharged and likely defective. Honestly, I'd suggest getting yours checked out professionally.

Ugh, defective battery already? That's just fantastic. Thanks for the info, I'll get it booked in. Turns out it was exactly what you said! Battery was toast, and the whole repair, with a new battery, came to 290€. At least it's sorted now!
