Peugeot 3008 Misfire Issue

Interesting. I had very similar symptoms with my 3008. Check engine light, jerking acceleration, and combustion misfires are no joke. What exactly did the error code say? Have you tried looking at the live data to see if any particular cylinder is misfiring more than others? The fuel pump is a possibility, but I'd also consider the injectors. A defective injection valve can cause similar problems.

P0300 points to a more general issue, making diagnosis trickier. Regarding the injectors, they can indeed become clogged, but a more definitive test would be to check their spray pattern and volume. In my case, one of the injectors was faulty and needed replacing. Given the symptoms and the error code, I would highly recommend getting it checked by a qualified workshop rather than trying to fix it yourself. A proper diagnosis is crucial here before throwing parts at it.
