Peugeot 3008 Temperature Sensor Issue

I own a Peugeot 3008, built in 2018, with a gasoline engine. I'm encountering an issue with the outside temperature sensor. The error is stored in the error memory. Furthermore, the air conditioning system won't activate, the spray nozzles are frozen at cold temperatures, and the mirror heating is non-functional. The mileage is currently at 110116 km. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Any insights?

I've got a 3008 too, and this sounds awfully familiar! I had the same symptoms last winter – AC not working, frozen washer jets, the whole shebang. Did you check the sensor calibration? I remember it threw me for a loop.

Could you elaborate on checking the sensor calibration? What steps did you take, and what were the results?

Honestly, I fiddled with it for an afternoon, and it just got worse. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the sensor and a dodgy connector. Saved me a lot of grief, even if it cost a bit.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate the advice and will take it to a workshop as well to have the sensor and connector checked. The expected repair costs are estimated at 95€.
