Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot 3008 diesel exhibited a turn signal fault, with error messages appearing on the speedometer. The issue was suspected to be a dodgy connection, possibly due to corrosion or damage in the electrical circuit. A professional diagnosis revealed a corroded connector in the lamp assembly, which was replaced to resolve the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! No recent bulb changes or signs of water. You mentioned the bulb holder – did yours actually have a visible issue, like cracking or melting?

In my case, the Opel Insignia did indeed exhibit a fractured bulb holder, resulting in intermittent contact and, consequently, the error messages you are experiencing. Given that you've eliminated recent bulb replacement and water ingress, I recommend a professional diagnosis. It is quite possible that the defective cable or plug connection is deeply hidden and requires specialized tools. Proceed to a workshop to replace the defective component. I estimate costs of around 95€.

Took it to the shop. You nailed it – corroded connector in the lamp assembly. New connector and all good, 95€ exactly. Thanks for the heads-up!

Having reviewed your issue description, I find similarities to a problem I encountered previously with an Opel Insignia. The symptoms you describe suggest a potential disruption in the electrical circuit related to the turn signal assembly. I would suggest starting with a thorough examination of the bulb holder and associated wiring for corrosion or physical damage. Before replacing any components, ensure the electrical contacts are clean and secure. Has the lamp been recently replaced, or have you noticed any water ingress into the light assembly?
