Peugeot 301 audio system dead

Hey, my 2023 Peugeot 301 diesel has a weird issue. The audio system is completely dead. No sound, nothing. The error memory has a fault stored. Anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar. I've got a 301 too, and had something similar. Does the display look normal, but there's just no sound at all? Any speaker crackle or anything?

Yeah, the display looks fine, all the dashboard controls work, but absolutely zero sound. I tried fiddling with the volume control, but nothing. You think it could be the display defective? What did it cost you to repair?

Yep, sounds like the same problem I had. My head unit was faulty; they said it was a defective display. I'd take it to a workshop. In my case, the car audio was completely useless. I see you have error stored in the error memory. It cost me 725€ to get it fixed at the workshop.

Thanks for the info! That sounds exactly like my problem. Looks like a trip to the workshop is in order. It was indeed the display. They replaced it and everything works now. The repair cost was 725€
