Peugeot 301 Start Stop Problem

Hey, I have a 2018 Peugeot 301 diesel. The start-stop isn't working. It stores an error, the engine sometimes shuts off unexpectedly, and the warning light comes on. I'm guessing it might be a battery issue?

Sounds familiar. Had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. The eco mode went crazy. Is your battery old? Might be worth checking that first.

Hmm, interesting. The Astra isn't a hybrid, is it? Did yours also shut off randomly? Battery seems okay, but maybe it's weaker than I think.

No, mine wasn't a hybrid. It did shut off randomly, though. I ended up needing a new battery. If the battery is fine, maybe it's something else. I'd get it checked at a workshop to be sure.

Okay, thanks. I'll get the battery tested properly and probably take it to a shop. Turns out the battery was heavily discharged. Replaced it for 290€ and now it's working again.
