Peugeot 301 Suspension Fault and Leaning

Hi, I own a 2018 Peugeot 301 with a gasoline engine, mileage 13727 km. Recently the vehicle can no longer lift, leans to one side, and I get a 'Suspension Fault' error on the speedometer. The ride is also very bumpy. Error is stored in the error memory. I suspect a faulty air suspension bellows valve. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hey, I had the same issue with my 301! Symptoms were identical: leaning, error message, bumpy ride. Turned out to be a problem with the air spring. Was there an air leak, maybe? Have you checked the air lines?

Thanks for your reply. I haven't checked the air lines myself. How did you confirm it was the air spring valve and not something else? Did you notice an air leak sound?

I didn't hear any obvious air leak, but the dealer confirmed it was the valve after their diagnosis. If the error is stored, you should definitely take it to a workshop to be checked. In my case, the valve on the air suspension bellows was indeed defective.

OK, thanks for the advice. I'll get it checked at a workshop. I've already received a cost estimate for 590€.
