Peugeot 307 Engine Issues

Hi, my 2008 Peugeot 307 (gasoline) is giving me headaches. It's got 217689 km on the clock. The engine is running rough, stalls at idle, and the check engine light is on. Plus, it jerks when accelerating. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Peugeot 307. Rough running, stalling... the whole shebang. Have you checked your ignition system? Specifically, the ignition coil and its connections? It could be a misfire. Are all spark plugs ok?

Think of the ignition coil as the heart of your spark. A dodgy connection there is like a kink in an artery. Yes, it can cause a lot of mayhem! While you can check the connections visually, tracing the exact fault without proper tools can be tricky. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop if you're not confident.

Cheers! It was indeed the ignition coil. Bad connection, just like you said. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Runs like new now.
