Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely check the connectors more closely. As for the control module, where exactly would I find that? Is it something easily accessible, or am I looking at a more involved process to get to it?

The control module's location can vary, but it is often found near the headlight assembly or within the vehicle's cabin, possibly behind the dashboard or under the steering column. Consulting a repair manual specific to your 2008 Peugeot 307 is highly recommended to pinpoint its exact location. If accessing and testing the module proves challenging, seeking assistance from a qualified workshop might be the most prudent course of action.

Appreciate the advice. Ended up taking it to a local shop; you were spot on. It was indeed a defective servomotor. Repair cost me around 1040€ all told. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

It sounds like you've performed some initial diagnostics, which is helpful. Considering the age and mileage of your Peugeot 307, a defective servomotor is a plausible cause, as you mentioned. Have you inspected the electrical connectors to the headlights for any signs of corrosion or damage? Also, have you checked the control module that governs the adaptive headlights? A fault within the module could also manifest in the symptoms you are experiencing.
