Peugeot 307 oxygen sensor heater failure
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Peugeot 307 is experiencing an oxygen sensor heater failure, indicated by a check engine light and increased fuel consumption. The issue is identified as a problem with the pre-cat oxygen sensor. The suggested solution is to visit a workshop, where it was confirmed that the sensor and a wire were faulty, leading to their replacement.

It's the pre-cat sensor. Any ideas?

Ah, yes. I had the same pre-cat sensor issue. I recommend taking it to a workshop. The sensor was faulty and had to be replaced in my case.

Thanks for confirming. I took it to a workshop like you said. It was a faulty sensor and a bad wire, just like you thought. It cost 95€ to fix. I appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my 307. Is the error for the pre-cat or post-cat sensor?
