Peugeot 307 Rain Light Sensor Fault

My 2003 Peugeot 307 diesel (261895 km) has a rain-light sensor issue. The error memory always has a fault. Auto wiping doesn't work in rain, no auto headlights, speedometer dimming is off, and the lights turn on by themselves. I think bubbles under the gel pad on the windshield are messing with the sensor. Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar with my 307. Does it happen all the time or just when it's humid?

Thanks. It doesn't seem to matter if it's humid, it's always happening. What was the problem you had?

Yeah, mine was doing the exact same thing. The garage said the sensor was faulty. Best bet is to get it checked at a workshop.

Okay, thanks. I had the rain-light sensor replaced. Cost me 62€. Everything's working now.
