Peugeot 307 Sunroof Error
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Peugeot 307 diesel is experiencing a 'not initialized' error with its sunroof, causing the sunblind and convertible top to be non-functional. The issue is suspected to be related to recent coding changes. The problem was resolved by taking the car to a workshop, where a diagnostic tool was used to reset the sunroof, restoring its functionality.

It's totally dead, like a brick. The motor is silent, no noise at all.

Okay, mine was similar then. I tried a few things but honestly, I think it's best to take it to a workshop. They'll have the right tools and software to diagnose it properly. It could be a simple reset or something more complex.

Thanks, I took it to a shop. They reset the sunroof with their diagnostic tool, and it's working fine now. Cost me 75€. Appreciate the advice!

I had something similar with my 307. My sunblind also got stuck. Does the motor sound like it's trying to move, or is it totally dead? It's like when your computer freezes and you don't know if it's still working or not.
