Peugeot 308 Air Suspension Failure

Hey, I'm freaking out. My 2015 Peugeot 308 with a gasoline engine is giving me serious grief. It's got about 38000 km on the clock. Basically, the whole car feels slammed – the air suspension seems totally shot. It just won't lift anymore! One side is noticeably lower. The dashboard's lit up with error messages, and the headlights are pointing at the sky or the road. A mechanic read the error codes, and it's pointing to the air suspension compressor. He thinks it might be a dodgy cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this? It's driving me nuts!

Could be a few things. Air leaks are common in these systems. Check the compressor relay and fuse first. Is the compressor running at all, or is it completely silent?

I haven't actually listened for the compressor. Where exactly is it located, and what should I be listening for... like a whirring noise?

It's often near the rear axle. A whirring or humming sound is what you're looking for. Given the error codes and multiple symptoms, though, it's probably best to get it checked professionally, focusing on the connections as suggested.

Thanks. I appreciate the advice. It was just a corroded connector to the compressor. Cleaned it up, and everything's back to normal! Bill came to 95€. Saved me a fortune!
