Peugeot 308 Electric Battery Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Peugeot 308 with an electric engine is experiencing battery issues, including difficulty starting and flickering lights. The problem may be caused by a faulty battery sensor, as suggested by another person who had similar issues with a different vehicle. After taking the car to a shop, it was confirmed that the battery sensor was indeed the problem, and a repair was quoted at 315€.

I haven't dug that deep yet, tbh. What were the voltage readings like on your Volvo when it was acting up? And what did it end up being?

The voltage was all over the place, sometimes dropping below 12V even when 'charged.' My indy diagnosed a faulty battery sensor. I would strongly suggest having your Peugeot's battery sensor inspected at a workshop.

Cheers. I took it to a local shop, and you nailed it! The battery sensor was toast. Quoted me 315€ for the repair. Thanks for the help!

I had similar symptoms with my Volvo, although it was an older petrol model. The battery voltage was fluctuating wildly. Have you run any vehicle diagnostics to check the battery health or measured the battery voltage directly?
