Peugeot 308 engine start problem

Hi, I'm having some trouble with my 2022 Peugeot 308 hybrid. It's got around 238k km on it. Lately, the engine sometimes refuses to start. Other times, it shuts off unexpectedly while I'm driving. When it does run, it feels really rough. I checked for any obvious blown fuses related to the ignition, but couldn't find anything. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 308. Randomly cutting out and refusing to start. It was a nightmare. Were there any dashboard lights coming on when it wouldn't start? And did you notice if it happened more when the engine was cold or hot?

Thanks for the quick response! I do notice that the dashboard lights flicker a bit when it struggles to start. And it seems to happen more when the engine is cold, yeah. What was the fix for yours?

Yeah, sounds very similar to what I experienced. I'm no mechanic, but based on your description and the dashboard lights, it could be car electronics. I would suggest taking it to a workshop. It could be many things, but I wouldn't risk driving it too much in that condition.

Thanks, appreciate the advice! Ended up taking it to a local garage. Turned out to be a defective fuse, which they replaced for 52€. Running smoothly now!
