Peugeot 308 Headlight Range Fault

I have a 308 too, and I've seen similar issues with the headlight auto-leveling. Does it happen immediately, or only after driving for a bit? Does the headlight switch affect it at all?

It happens right away. Cycling the headlight switch makes no difference. Do you remember if your error code pointed specifically to the servomotor?

I don't recall the exact error code, but the symptoms were the same: warning light and incorrect beam angle. I eventually had to take it to a workshop to get it sorted. They indicated it was the lighting system control module giving the wrong commands

Thanks. I'll check the control module as well, but I guess a workshop visit is inevitable. Repair will cost around 1040€ because the complete headlight unit has to be changed.
