Interesting, I hadn't thought of that. Which connector exactly did you have trouble with? Was it directly at the pump, or somewhere else along the line?

Yeah, it was a pain to diagnose. From memory, it was the plug right at the fuel pump itself. I'd suggest checking that first. Given all the symptoms and the mileage, it's worth taking it to a trusted workshop for a proper diagnostic check. It could be a simple fix, but best to be sure.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right. It was a faulty connector at the fuel pump. They cleaned it and secured the connection. Cost me 95€, but runs like new again!

Hey, I had similar issues with my 308. Engine stalling and rough running sounds familiar. Have you checked the fuel injector connections as well? I once chased a similar problem, and it was a slightly loose connector causing intermittent pump failure.
