Peugeot 308 oil level sensor fault

Help! My 2021 Peugeot 308 hybrid is throwing a fit. I keep getting an "oil level sensor fault" message on the dash, plus the oil pressure light flickers sometimes. The car has only done 33440 km! I've checked the oil level manually, and it seems fine. Anyone else seen this?

I had a similar issue on my 308, although it wasn't a hybrid. Those error messages and the oil pressure light are super annoying, I know. I'd suggest checking the wiring and the plug to the oil level sensor itself. It’s often a simple connection issue. Where did you find the error stored?

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the oil level sensor located? And how can I check the error myself?

The oil level sensor is typically located on the oil pan. As for the error, I recommend you go to a workshop. If indeed the cable or the connection is defective, the repair cost shouldn't exceed 95€.

Great, thanks so much for your help! I took it to the shop as you suggested. Turns out it was a dodgy connection to the oil level sensor. They cleaned it up and now it's all good! The bill was pretty much what you predicted. Cheers!
