Thanks for the info! The oil color looks dark, almost black. How did you confirm that exceeding the maintenance interval was the root cause?

Well, the dark color of your oil already indicates that it might be time for an oil change. In my case, the workshop told me that old oil loses its viscosity and doesn't protect the engine as well. They suggested an oil change immediately. I would recommend visiting your local workshop to confirm that exceeding the maintenance interval is the cause of your problems. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks a lot for your help! You were right. I went to the workshop, and they confirmed that I had exceeded the maintenance interval. They changed the oil and the oil filter. The final repair cost was 165€. Now the warning lights are gone.

Hey! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane a while back. Same symptoms, oil pressure light and all. In my case, the problem was that I had exceeded the maintenance interval by quite a bit, which can cause the oil to degrade and not lubricate properly. What does the oil look like? Is it sludgy or discolored at all? An overdue oil change could be the culprit here.
